What We Do
Provides the following services for the Washington County Government and the Citizens of Washington County:
- Provides accounting and financial management systems in accordance with N. C. General Statutes
- Manages the receipt and deposit of moneys, investments, and fixed assets
- Assists with the preparation of the annual budget and monitors the County’s expenditures during the year
- Manages County debt
- Procures goods and services for all County agencies and accounts payable
- Manages payroll/benefits
- Provides risk management services
- Prepares the County’s financial reports
- Supervises the financial operations of the other county departments
