What We Do

The County Manager serves as the county budget officer, personnel officer, and chief administrative officer for the county. The manager is responsible for all daily operations activities of the county, for all capital projects, and development of the annual county budget. The manager advises the Board of Commissioners on all issues that affect the county and its operations including legislation. The manager drafts local ordinances and policies, and is responsible for implementation of each.

Ordinances

Active County ordinances are as follows: Animal Control, Annual Budget Ordinance, Subdivision Ordinance, Solid Waste Ordinance, Noise Ordinance, Mobile Home Ordinance, Cable TV Ordinance, Ambulance Franchise Ordinance, and Wrecker Rotation Regulations. There are other regulations and ordinances that can be reviewed in the manager’s office, and limited ordinances on the county homepage.

County Board Meetings

Board of Commissioners meet monthly on the first Monday of each month unless a holiday. Please refer to meeting schedule.
